A six-room cedar homestay and a little organic shop, two kilometres from the town and a world away from it.
Gypsy Homes began as our own house in the cedars above Bashisht. Over the years the spare rooms filled with travellers, the kitchen learned to cook for a crowd, and the orchard started giving more honey and apples than one family could eat.
Today it is six warm rooms, long breakfasts by the fire, and a small shop of everything we grow and gather. You are not a booking here β you are a guest of the house.

Wild forest honey from our hives, hand-dried mountain teas, small-batch fruit jams, traditional pickles and steam-distilled essential oils β grown, gathered and packed by hand. Guests take a jar home; everyone else can order online.

Natural sulphur springs and an ancient stone temple in the heart of the village.

A cedar-shrouded wooden shrine, centuries old and deeply quiet.

Paragliding in summer, snow and skiing through the winter months.

Pick apples in season and learn how the honey and cider are made.

Cold, clear water over the stones β our favourite spot for sundowners.
